Precision Entrances for Last-Mile Delivery

Today we're launching precision entrances for last-mile delivery and logistics: building entrances, pickup and dropoff coordinates, parking and no-parking zones, and access metadata.

For delivery, rideshare, and logistics companies, this means tighter ETAs, less time wasted per stop, and fewer drivers circling a building looking for the right door.

What's in the data

Entrance coordinates. Lat/lon for every main entrance, secondary entrance, gate, and service door. Not the building centroid, the actual point where a person walks in.

Access restrictions. Front desk, gate, loading dock, pedestrian-only. Which entrances take package deliveries, which handle rideshare pickup, and which allow vehicle access.

Parking zones. Parking lot and garage boundaries with access points. Routing systems can factor parking availability into stop sequencing and avoid locations where parking disappears during peak hours.

Building type. Residential, commercial, hospitality. A Hilton gets concierge desk instructions, a suburban duplex gets front door, a Class A office building gets the package room on B1.

Building footprints. Precise building outlines that enable arrival detection. When a driver's GPS enters the building footprint polygon, the system can trigger arrival events, start handoff timers, and push updated ETAs to the customer.

How it works

Our location agent has over 30 tools and counting, including aerial and street-level imagery analysis. By combining business attributes with imagery, the agent pinpoints entrances and nearby parking zones, then classifies them with structured metadata.

We're starting to work with partners to leverage their own proprietary data and generate even richer coverage.

Dropoff metadata

Every entrance carries structured dropoff metadata: fields like entrance_type, entrance_scope, delivery tags, minimum parking distance, and handoff details like intercom availability, reception hours, and safe-drop context. For logistics platforms, this translates directly into better stop-time estimates and clearer driver instructions.

Coming soon: indoor routing

We're extending precision entrances past the front door and into the building: indoor routing from curb to unit, including interior wayfinding and access constraints like elevators, key fobs, and floor restrictions.

Get started

Precision entrances are available now for delivery, rideshare, and logistics platforms. If you're building routing, fleet management, or autonomous delivery systems, book a call to see how it fits your stack.
